Price-performance ratio great! In our room a mattress was worn out and had to be replaced, but otherwise everything was great regarding the accommodation. At breakfast it was difficult to keep the distances, because there were no intermediate tables in the corresponding room and the buffet was set up in a relatively small space. Dinner in another room was better. The food was good. Breakfast plentiful. Conclusion: Recommended

There were no complaints, rooms ok, food very good and friendly staff. However, a small downer: the sauna is open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is not nice that there were no towels at 4:30 pm and that the reception was overwhelmed. A remedy should be found here.

Only stayed one night as we walked the Gläserneren Steig on a multi-day hiking tour. Nice welcome, nice cozy room, great breakfast. The world is still in order here, when we came some older men were sitting at the regulars' table to drink their beer, on Sunday morning the card players met for morning pint. And finally I got beef to eat 🤗😀

We were there at the end of August, I had received a voucher from my husband for my birthday. Unfortunately, hardly anything of the services was redeemed. On arrival Sunday 4.30 p.m., reception closed, no greeting. In the room immediately seen from the distance that a mattress was completely worn out, the maid should have seen it and replaced it. In response to massive pressure in the restaurant, a new mattress was organized. No bathrobes in the room, no bottle of wine in the room. The champagne breakfast was not served on Monday. On Monday morning the housekeeper knocked and was already there without waiting for a yes or no, that's not possible. Then she stopped cleaning the room. When we came back at 4:00 p.m. it wasn't cleaned and we still didn't have bathrobes. In the morning we wanted to schedule our massage, but unfortunately we couldn't because the lady was sick and they had no replacement. On Monday evening I complained politely but definitely and unfortunately had to listen to unpleasant sentences from the receptionist. That is not possible in a hotel. Hospitality looks different. On Monday evening we had bathrobes and a bottle of champagne in our room as an excuse. Unfortunately, I was just annoyed instead of recovering because the birthday voucher my husband had paid for was largely not fulfilled for me. On departure, my husband was asked if he had paid for the voucher at all, that was the greatest INSOLENCE badly. Finally it was sent to us by the hotel after receipt of payment. In addition, there was the statement that the voucher was over a year old (April 19) and that it has already expired. They also had Covid and closed. THAT was a CHEAP to say something like that. We then deducted the massage that was not received from the invoice. We couldn't use the saunas and jacuzzi because of missing bathrobes. The only really positive thing was the restaurant, great food and the friendly service there.

The place Frauenau is very quiet and contemplative. The Landgasthof Hubertus met our requirements in all categories. The service staff was always friendly and courteous despite Corona requirements that were always followed exactly. The small wellness area in the basement was enough for us, but anyone expecting a large oasis is wrong here, there is a whirlpool, a small relaxation room and two saunas and an infrared cabin. But there is the possibility to have a massage, offers for this are available in the room, but we did not use this. The steam sauna was not in operation, I think because of the Corona requirements. We were very nicely informed to report to the reception if the sauna wasn't in use, they would then heat it up for us. The rooms were clean and well-kept and you could use free WiFi. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and satisfactory. In the afternoon there was delicious cake with coffee or tea and in the evening a wonderful dinner, whereby we could choose from three dishes as part of our half-board, with the main course there was always a delicious soup, salad and a very delicate dessert. The dining room with the glazed balcony offers a wonderful place to enjoy it. Here, too, great attention was paid to the corona rules. I would also like to thank you again for the perfect service throughout the house, which is certainly not always so easy to handle due to Corona. My husband and I can highly recommend the Landgasthof Hubertus, we felt very comfortable here and were able to relax very well with the offer of time out. The price performance fully met our expectations.

Nice vacation with wife and dog. Room and food good. Everything is available in town and can be easily reached on foot. Nice staff, responded immediately to small problems.

Have used a 5-day offer from kurzurlaub.de and have to say I cannot confirm many negative comments. Breakfast was sufficient the dinner with half board was a 4 course menu (soup - salad - three different dishes - dessert) and that was enough. The food was always hot and very tasty. The wellness area is small and cute, 2 saunas, an infrared cabin and a whirlpool. The room was big and cozy. You can get anywhere very quickly from your location. We would come back anytime and enjoyed it as a small family.

Nice location, good food, modern rooms, good prices, extra offers for motorcyclists, even with a garage and very friendly staff. The whole house is freshly renovated and the work is still ongoing. I can only recommend it. 🤓

In July, the three of us started the long journey from Neumünster to Frauenau to spend 9 days at Landgasthof Hubertus. After 10 hours driving we reached our destination and were warmly welcomed by the front desk. After the prehapes we decided to have a coffee and a piece of cake to eat, which is still offered for free with half board. Then we examined our rooms on the 2nd floor next to each other. Everything was ok, balcony available, only after a second pillow we asked, which was also brought quickly. With the guest card you can travel for free with the bus and the train, first to Zwiesel where you have to change then if you want to go further. But that's not a problem as the train is usually already on the other track. It should be mentioned that the visit to the Glasgalerie is always worthwhile, just like the glassblowing, both in Frauenau. There are many excursion possibilities, most by train or bus, or by car to Baumwipfelpfard. Achso in the inn Hubertus there is a great whirlpool and sauna area with massage chair, also you can book a massage there. It's best you look at it yourself on occasion.
